Princess Peach's birthday party is crashed by Bowser Jr. and the Koopalings, who kidnap her and whisk her away in their airship. Mario, Luigi and two Toads set off across eight worlds to rescue her.
The journey covers grasslands, deserts, icy mountains, jungles and Bowser's volcanic castle, with a Koopaling waiting at the end of most worlds.
New Super Mario Bros. Wii brought simultaneous four-player co-op to classic 2D Mario for the first time. Players can work together or bump each other into pits, and new power-ups like the Propeller Mushroom and Penguin Suit join Yoshi and the Fire Flower. The Super Guide helps younger players past tricky levels, making it a perfect family game.
