A year after the events at Arkham Asylum, a section of Gotham has been walled off and turned into a massive prison called Arkham City, run by the mysterious psychiatrist Hugo Strange. When Bruce Wayne is thrown inside, Batman has to uncover what Strange's Protocol 10 really is before time runs out.
Inside, the Joker is dying from the effects of the Titan formula and has his own deadly plan, and Batman crosses paths with Two-Face, the Penguin, Mr. Freeze, Ra's al Ghul and Catwoman, who is playable in her own story chapters.
Arkham City opened up the series with a city to glide and grapple across, expanding Freeflow combat with new gadgets and counters. Over 400 Riddler challenges, side missions for nearly every major villain and challenge maps make it one of the most complete superhero games ever made.
