Five hundred years after the original Fable, Albion has entered an age of gunpowder and industry. A young orphan in Bowerstone and their sister buy a magic music box from a traveling merchant, a purchase that brings them to the attention of the sinister Lord Lucien Fairfax, who is searching for the last descendants of the old Heroes.
Years later, guided by the mysterious seer Theresa, the orphan sets out to gather three other Heroes, Strength, Skill and Will, to stop Lucien from completing the Spire and remaking the world.
Fable II is famous for consequences. Your choices change your appearance, how townsfolk treat you, the property you own and even who you marry. A faithful dog follows you everywhere, sniffing out treasure and helping in fights, and a friend can join for drop-in co-op.
